10 SIGNS YOU'RE SENSITIVE TO CRYSTAL ENERGY

Ever wondered if you’ve got ‘it’..... that elusive quality that Healers and Spiritual Practitioners seem to have where they can truly feel a crystal’s energy? The good news is, crystal resonance is not simply a black-and-white matter of ‘If you’ve got it you’ve got it, and if you don’t you don’t’. There is lots of grey area, and even the most stubborn energetic sceptic can still learn to attune to a crystals for beginners energy with time and practice!

Here are 10 key traits that a ‘crystal sensitive’ person will usually have. How many do you relate to?

1. YOU LOVE CRYSTALS

Normally, a person who is crystal-sensitive will have a natural interest in, and appreciation for, crystals. That may not necessarily be in a ‘spiritual’ context either! Perhaps you have always just been a rock-collector and have simply admired the visual beauty of rocks and crystals.

2. YOU ARE INEXPLICABLY ‘DRAWN’ TO OR REPELLED BY CERTAIN CRYSTALS

Have you ever just been so drawn to a crystal that you HAD to have it? Crystal-sensitive people tend to find themselves drawn to certain types of crystals, and even sometimes repelled by specific crystals. If you find yourself constantly seeking out Amethyst, or shunning Turquoise, you may just be crystal-sensitive.

3. YOU BECOME EMOTIONAL WHEN YOU HANDLE CRYSTALS

Crystals have the power to connect and bring out our deepest emotions and feelings. It is not completely uncommon to feel a little teary, or emotional when holding a crystal. Crystals are master healers, penetrating deep into our energetic layers to draw out long-buried trauma to the emotional surface for release. So, if you have an emotional response the next time you put on a crystal necklace or meditate with a stone, this may be the reason.

4. YOU GET VERY HOT OR COLD WHEN YOU HANDLE CRYSTALS

If you have ever found yourself feeling suddenly hot or cold while near crystals or in contact with crystals, then you are most definitely crystal-sensitive. Everyone ‘feels’ energy differently, but one of the most common responses to an energetic exchange is noticing a sudden, unexplained change in body temperature. Many energetic Therapists (including myself) get exceptionally hot when working with crystals, even in the middle of winter!

5. YOU ARE AN EMPATH

Empaths are people whose energetic and emotional filters are thinner than most others. They absorb feelings, energy and moods from those around them, often not realising that the feeling they are experiencing is not even their own. Because of this heightened energetic and emotional sensitivity, Empaths are very often also sensitive to crystal energies.

6. YOU CAN SEE THE CHAKRAS OR AURAS

If you are able to see energies such as the colour of the Chakras or Auric fields, then there is a good chance that you are also able to ‘see’ or feel crystal energy too. A crystal’s energetic vibration is very influenced by it’s colour, so if you are already able to see and feel colour energies in other environments, then working with a crystal’s colour energy should be a natural progression.

7. YOU ARE A VIVID DREAMER

People who dream vividly are believed to generally be more creative, and are also believed to have a heightened connection to their subconscious mind. They can be less inhibited, and not as bound by the rigidity of the Conscious mind, which always seeks out the practical and logical answers to life’s mysteries. This means they can naturally be more open to receiving subtle energetic vibrations from crystals, which are often delivered subconsciously.

8. YOU CONNECT WITH ANGELS OR SPIRIT GUIDES

Some believe that crystals are inhabited by individual Earth-spirits or guardians. If you already have experience with working and communicating with angels or spirit guides, then you are probably already able to connect with individual crystal energies (even if you haven’t tried it yet!)

9. YOU CAN FEEL DIFFERENT ENERGIES FROM CRYSTALS

Each unique crystal, just like each unique person, has it’s own energetic feel and ‘personality’. Some may make you feel happy and joyful, while others may make you feel cold and heavy. If you find yourself unexpectedly feeling jittery, anxious, excitable, happy or inspired when you put on a new piece of crystal jewellery or walk into a crystal shop, then you are quite possibly picking up on the crystal’s energy.

10. CRYSTALS SEEM TO ‘FIND’ YOU

Are you the type of person that doesn’t necessarily go our looking for crystals, but they always seem to find you? Like if you go swimming at a local river only to stub your toe on a big piece of jasper? Or maybe it’s your birthday and someone gifts you with a magnificent piece of Quartz…. If crystals seem to keep coming to you, then you should be paying attention. The laws of attraction are very strong, and even if you are not yet aware of it, you might be a magnet for minerals!
