How to make a New Year Manifestation Crystal Grid?

Updated: Jun 1, 2023

crystals for beginners

We all start the New Year with big hopes and dreams of improving on the year that’s passed. It may be to take up a new fitness habit, eat healthier or take the first big step on a new project. But, getting started on our path can be difficult, and keeping going can be even harder. Crystal gridding is an excellent tool to help you get clear about your intentions for the New Year – and then assist in manifesting them.

We’d like to show you how building a simple crystal grid can give you a helping hand in taking that first big step!

What is a crystal grid?

A crystal grid is a pattern of crystals laid out with a particular intention in mind. The pattern you choose will depend upon what you want to achieve with your grid, but it will often be a sacred geometry shape such as the Flower of Life or Metatron’s Cube. We’ve written before about crystal grids and the best crystals to use and have created an intensive crystal grid course for anyone wanting to delve deeper.

For this article, we’ll focus on the best design for a manifestation grid for the year to come.

What shape should my manifestation grid be?

Generally speaking, a grid for manifestation should have a shape that radiates outwards. We start with a keystone crystal in the center (usually quartz) and place smaller stones around the outside that reflect our intention.

A grid that radiates outwards has the effect of sending your energy and intention out into the world. Think spirals, sunray designs, or our favorite, the Flower of Life.

The Flower of Life begins as a single circle and then radiates outwards in all directions with a series of overlapping circles that can continue to infinity. It’s used throughout the world in art and sacred temples and is seen as a symbol of self-knowledge.

The energy of the Flower of Life is that of a seed, full of growth and potential, which is why it makes such an excellent manifestation grid.

Which crystals should I use in my manifestation grid?

The crystals you choose will depend on the purpose of your grid, but we recommend starting with a quartz generator or transmitter crystal in the center and programming it with your intention.

You can then use quartz points to point away from the center crystal towards your outer stones. Your points can be clear quartz or you may like to try citrine points if your grid focuses on abundance or amethyst points for spiritual growth.

Tumbled stones are perfect for the job of outer stones (around the petals of your grid). We recommend between four and eight depending on your grid.

Some ideas for which tumbled stones to use:

  • To attract abundance - citrine, pyrite, lapis lazuli, chrysoprase

  • To bring more love into your life - amethyst, rhodochrosite, rose quartz, garnet

  • To assist a detox - clear quartz, carnelian, bloodstone, hematite

If you think you might need some help with willpower and motivation, you can find the best crystals for the job here.

We hope you have a wonderful time creating your new crystal grid and that the year ahead brings all your hopes and dreams to fruition.

To help you on your journey, we’ve created some crystal gridding sets, complete with beautiful handcrafted wooden gridding boards and the crystals you need for your personal manifestation needs.

Happy New Year!
